NSW Government Freezes Pay Rises to save $3 Billion Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
The NSW government has frozen public sector pay rises for the next 12 months among the COVID-19 pandemic and says it will not make any of its workers during that time.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian says the measure will save about $3 billion.
Ms. Berejiklian has assured government workers there will be no job losses.
